Pinkberry is an LA-based frozen yogurt chain. But it's not your typical frozen yogurt. This stuff actually tastes like yogurt... tangy and lightly sweet at the same time. They have very simple flavor choices... plain, pomegrante and green tea. They also have a great selection of fresh fruit toppings... blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, mango, kiwi, pineapple, etc. They offer a variety of nuts, chocolate shavings and cereal toppings too.
Since having our first taste the first weekend we arrived, Patrick and I (and Annie too!) have kind of become addicted. We've even made it dinner on more than one occasion. My favorite is plain and pomegrante swirled with blueberries and Captain Crunch (yes... Captain Crunch - how awesome is that?), Patrick's favorite is plain with blackberries and good 'ole Captain Crunch too, and Annie is thrilled with whatever we break down and share with her.
Alas, the only east coast stores are in New York City. I've already gotten Tracie to try it (and she's now a fan too!)... maybe I'll be able to convince her to bring us down some when we're back home. :)
Yeah, I finally figured out where to put comments, I am sooo blonde ;)
ReplyDeleteSo I have an Idea, since you love this frozen yogurt place so much, why don't you call their headquaters and convince them to open one here in Manassas ;)

Their website has franchise information. Maybe you and your friends could open one in Tysons or elsewhere in the DC metro area.
ReplyDeleteI think you should try to sell them that picture!
